Instructional Goals

To facilitate this process, I have identified below some of the general instructional goals that I would like this web-based learning aid to meet. Your team will select ONE of the following goals to use as an organizational framework for the design:

1) The learner will be able to create, modify and display a three-slide text-based Powerpoint presentation using multiple templates.

2) The learner will be able to insert and position graphic objects in a slide, including clipart objects, shape objects, wordart objects, and image files.

3) The learner will be able to modify the animation and transition effects for slides and multimedia objects in a three-slide Powerpoint presentation.

4) The learner will be able to insert and set the appropriate timing options for a narrated or musical soundtrack in a three-slide Powerpoint presentation.

5) The learner will be able to insert and modify hyperlinks to web sites, other slides, or other objects in a three-slide Powerpoint presentation.

You may assume that these instructional goals are intended to be taught in-sequence. You may also assume that students, by this point in the course, have already mastered basic drawing skills, such as creating, moving, resizing, and coloring shapes.
