Assignment 8: Evaluate Software Complexity
For this assignment, you will reply to another student’s assessment of the security risks posted by systemd. In this reply, you will either agree or disagree with their assessment.
Discussion Requirements
Choose one other person’s initial post about software complexity and systemd. Evaluate their analysis. Do you agree with their conclusion, or do you disagree? Even if you agree, can you expand on something they said?
For this assignment, make a single reply post to this one other person’s initial post and respectfully agree or disagree with that person. If you agree, expand upon their reasoning and point out anything else you think they should consider. If you disagree, explain why. Cite at least one source that either backs up your position or expands upon their reasoning. This citation may be informal – a link to the source is sufficient.
Also reply to any questions I post. Some of these replies may be posted after we have started the next discussion.
As a reminder, you must do your own writing. Use of ChatGPT or other artificial intelligence tools is NOT PERMITTED, beyond the use of the automated word completion and grammar checking that may be available in Microsoft Teams.
