QEMU Templates
I have prepared a set of downloadable templates to make running x86_64 and AArch64 virtual machines easier. Please note that these templates do not necessarily contain all the QEMU options that you will need for a particular virtual machine. Edit them as required for each individual VM.
Templates are organized according to the host operating system, not the guest operating system.
Linux and macOS Hosts
On macOS, you will need to edit the SHARE variable at the top of the template to point to the QEMU share directory. This location varies between Apple silicon and macOS on Intel CPUs. Linux users generally will not have to change this location, unless you are using an esoteric distribution or built QEMU from source.
Windows Hosts
I have templates in both batch file and PowerShell formats. If in doubt, use the batch files, as they require less preparation work.
