If you have found this page from course materials on my website but are not a student at Coastal Carolina University (in Conway, South Carolina), please contact your course professor at your own university or college for assistance. Important Note for Parents
According to the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), I cannot release any information about your student without their explicit authorization. Each separate discussion requires a new explicit authorization. Please see FERPA for Parents/Guardians for more information.
As a general rule, I also require the student to be present on a call or in a meeting with a parent. Please note that I generally do NOT return voicemails or emails from parents. Instead, please ask your student to schedule a meeting (physical or via a call) with me and have them complete the FERPA authorization process before the call. This policy is a cybersecurity measure intended to protect your student by preventing a scammer or other bad actor from trying to impersonate you.
