I also owe a huge thanks to my office mate Kevin Reynolds who, through the teaching of this course, was able to provide me with indispensible feedback and useful conversations to improve the readability and structure of the text.
I am also indebted to myriad StackExchange answers and LaTeX documentation for my acquired knowledge regarding drawing mathematical diagrams, such as those in Parts I and IV. In particular, I copied the example from TikZBlog to make the Venn diagrams in Chapter 1. The standalone package was used to output LaTeX images to individual PDFs for the printable version of the book.
