Group Formation

Overview

IST 661 is a project course that requires you to work in a group. Group sizes will depend on class enrollment, and I will announce the minimum and maximum number of people per group during the first week of class.

You will form your own groups by communicating with each other in the class channel in Microsoft Teams. A link to this channel is provided in Moodle. Join the channel, introduce yourself, and work together to split into groups.

Submission Requirement

By the end of the Preparation Phase, each person needs to submit a Group Formation Worksheet to the corresponding Moodle assignment activity. To ensure that your browser downloads the Group Formation Worksheet instead of trying to open it, right-click the following link and choose "Save As," "Save Link As," or similar language from the menu. (Each browser is a little different in what wording it uses.)

Follow the instructions provided in the worksheet in order to complete it. Export your completed worksheet to PDF format. Upload the PDF document as the submission for the Moodle assignment activity for Group Formation.

Documentation for worksheet preparation is available for LibreOffice and Microsoft Word Online:
