RUBRIC

The purpose of this rubric is to add precision to what is ultimately a subjective and imprecise process--grading an essay.

Each of the criteria at right is weighted equally and measured on a continuous basis using a Likert-like scale system of 1-5 points.

You will use this rubric to evaluate (blindly) each other's rough drafts to be turned in on April 10th. You will then edit your essay according to the comments received during the revision workshop. Reminder: final drafts are due April 24th.
