PROPOSAL
Due: February 9

Format..

The purpose of this research paper proposal is to present a general research question and a rationale for inquiry into that topic. Accordingly, I'd like you to divide the proposal into the following sections:

(1) Title -- The title should be a succinct phrase that summarizes the domain of research you are investigating. For example: "Online versus traditional instruction," or "Gender and technology achievement," or "Attitude and technology performance," or "Writing achievement in technology-rich environments," or ...

(2) Research Question -- Present the general research question to be investigated, either as a well developed sentence or series of sentences. Start this section with the traditional intro: "The purpose of this paper is to..."

(3) Rationale -- Delineate a brief rationale for inquiry into this domain. Why would the answer to this question be significant? To whom would the answer be useful?

Please note that the above should be completed in one detailed paragraph. I do not require pages of info; nor do I desire references to the literature at this point. My goal is to have you formalize a written commitment to a topic that you have selected based upon preliminary browsing of research studies in areas that interest you.
