Born and raised perilously close to Steve Hamelman in the New York/New Jersey megatropolis, singer-guitarist Steve Nagle first played in the Columbia (SC) group Christopher in the late '60's, performing at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion on Easter Weekend of 1968. Unfortunately, this band self-recorded a very forgettable album in 1969, which as now been pirated by collectors a few times on CD, prompting the former members to sanction an official CD, leaving Nagle forever plagued by his musical past. On the Grand Strand, he has been a member of rock groups such as Autumn and The Pockets, and a country stretch called Southern Star. He now competes with Brian Nance for front-man credentials.
