Bass player
Dan
Ennis was born in Boston and moved to South Carolina when he was
sixteen. He purchased his first guitar in 1988--a $50 classical acoustic--from
Mikalis Pawn Shop in Summerville, SC while he was in high school. His
band life began as a grad student at Auburn University where he played
harp in a couple of short-lived blues outfits, sat in with college bands
like like Euglena and The Killbillies, and helped found and played guitar
in the alt-country trio Paschal, which survives to this day in eastern
Alabama. Dan has a professorial site
here.
