The Coastal Carolina University Rugby Football Club was established in 2002 by Dr. John Graham, now of Longwood University. Since and still coached by Sgt. Robert Kegler, successes for the club include 3 playoff appearances with a 2009 USA Rugby South Championship and NSCRO National Championship.
