I am currently interning for the American Concervation Experience and activity searching for a high-caliber Graduate or Research Program.

Research Assistant
Center for Marine and Wetland Studies
May 2009 – May 2011

  • Assisted with the development of a cutting-edge tool capable of detecting and quantifying Radon at depth. Cleaned and combined LIDAR and Multibeam data. Administered a county wide survey of rip current awareness. Calculated sediment size distribution to access dredging repercussions on sediment transport.

Researcher

May 2010 – June 2010

  • Conducted independent research in Discovery Bay, Jamaica as lead research diver assessing the effects of groundwater. Constructed a flotation device to house instrumentation and entered study site via shore entry twice daily. Accrued 30 dives. Generated a report that is available upon request.
