Students
In the three years I have been at CCU I have finished (as major professor or committee
member) four students. Of these, three are gainfully employed in their fields (wetland ecology, marine biology, geological sciences) and one has begun a funded doctoral project at Clemson University. I have also mentored three unergraduates that are currently in MS programs in Ecology. Currently I have six graduate students investigating a wide range of ecological topics including - human impacts to an Ecuadorian RAMSAR wetland, herptofuana diversity on a large riverine island, developing a functional template for wetland creation, fire management and wetland community dynamics, Carolina bays in space and time, and conservation easement oversight. Student websites are forthcoming.
