I am an aquatic ecologist interested in the structure and function of stream and wetland ecosystems.  I am especially interested in how human activity influences aquatic ecosystems, and typically focus on benthic macroinvertebrates and ecosystem processes in freshwater streams and wetlands, and salt marshes.  Interested undergraduate and graduate students should contact me if they wish to participate in these research areas.
