  Teach undergraduate computer science courses and laboratories in the Department of Computer Science with a focus on major required courses.  Courses taught face-to-face in a computer laboratory and traditional classroom.  Other duties:  Manage department webpage, serve on committees, manage a group of introductory courses and resources, advise students, and serve as ABET accreditation assessment leader.

  Oversee the planning and implementation of transforming current environmental projects/filings into automated computer processes.  Manage compliance-based environmental projects for all areas (including three airports and several port properties) of the Massachusetts Port Authority.  Manage all storm water related projects and coordinate with tenants, contractors, and company personnel.  Work with members of the community to foster positive relationships between the company and communities impacted by company operations.

CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT / SUPPORT
 Course Development
  Course development varies from redesigning existing courses to creating new courses.  All courses listed are undergraduate courses unless otherwise specified.

Course redesign includes making major changes to course content including book selection and updating courses to meet new technology standards.  Courses:  Managing Enterprise Data (graduate), Introduction to Computer Applications, Enterprise Business Applications, Introduction to Computer Science.

New course development often includes researching topics, textbooks, writing course descriptions and syllabi, and filing required documents for official adoption into the curriculum.  Courses:  Introduction to Web Design and Introduction to Computer Science Laboratory.
     
  Degree Program Development
  Degree program development focuses on creating a new Information Systems undergraduate program.   Tasks include researching other programs of study, targeting curriculum changes, meeting accreditation standards, and filing required paperwork.
     
  Laboratory Upgrades
  Work with existing funds to make minor, but necessary upgrades such as access to power.  Major upgrade tasks include equipment research and pricing, and justification documentation development.
     
  Physical Action Labs
  Develop a series of hands-on labs related to various topics in computer science.  Tasks include brainstorming ideas, researching equipment needs and costs, designing in-class activities, assessment of knowledge, and follow-up surveys.  Action labs include such topics as RFID, PC Building, Google, and UNIX
