I've been drawing and painting as long as I can remember. An uncle of mine was very encouraging and consequently I took up Commercial Art as a major at Attleboro High School. I went on to study at the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. After college I went off to live in Europe for an extended time. It was a great learning experience. When I returned home, I plied my graphic artist trade for several decades. I moved to South Carolina in 1995. I've taught art for a number of years, from grade school to college. At this time I'm at Coastal Carolina University in the media department.

My artwork has been predominantly digital artwork of late. It's done with a digital camera, Adobe photoshop, Corel Painter and Artrage. Much of my inspiration comes from living in South Carolina right by the ocean and beautiful saltmarshes. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular! I'm also fortunate to live close to nearby Brookgreen Gardens (the largest sculpture garden in the U.S.). Many examples of Brookgreen will be found on these pages.

I also play a great deal of music here on the Strand with my band The Fourclosures and other fine musician friends. www.thefourclosures.com

I hope that you enjoy my work. Come back soon because I always create new work and will add them on a regular basis.
