Officers 2011/2012

Officers

OSAL Requirement: All officers who have been elected, selected or appointed as stipulated by the organization’s constitution must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at the time of appointment and throughout the duration of their term of office.

CCU College Republican Constitution: Officer elections will be held at the end of March each academic year. Nominations will be submitted during the first meeting in March for the office of Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and Student Government Association (SGA) Senator. The term of the offices will be from August through April during the academic year. All officers must be full-time students in good standing with the University.

Note: The reasoning behind holding our elections at the end of the academic year revolves around 1) allowing new officers to work with current officers for two months; 2) the club’s leadership is in place at the start of the next academic year as to holding the elections after club recruitment day (about two months into the academic year); 3) planning for events the next academic year can begin months prior to the majority of the work load of education begins in the Fall/Spring.
