January 2011
Dear Coastal Carolina University Student:
It is my pleasure to inform you that you are among a very small number
of Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate Students who have been determined to be
academically eligible for consideration as a member of Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK), the University's
first national leadership and scholastic society. Seniors graduating in May
2011 are not eligible for membership consideration, unless you have been
accepted into a graduate program here at Coastal Carolina University. If this
applies to you, please indicate so on your application.
The Coastal Carolina University Circle of ODK is an active organization on campus,
participating in several activities like the Celebration of Inquiry, Grad Finale, the Honors
Convocation, and bringing leaders/speakers to the campus. We also, proudly
sponsor the University's Honor Stole Project as currently displayed by
students at Commencement.

application for membership in ODK is voluntary. If you are interested in
applying for ODK please fill out the attached application and return it no
